Are you kidding?

This is what my doctor came back with after checking out my foot. Um...are you kidding me? One week before the riverbank run and my left foot is in severe pain. From the ball to the heel it feels like someone took a hammer to it. I have not come this far to not run. So I guess we'll have to make room in our queen size bed for thine boot. Plantar Fasciitis is the official diagnosis. Does this warrant any extra sympathy pledges for YFC?

oooh, my sister had that a few years ago...walked the 3day walk in major pain, which causes me to believe that you running on saturday will cause greater pain than what you have now...she got a pair a those z-coil shoes and loves em! apparently they are supposed to help with that. i hope you feel better!

Ugh. One of my very good friends has fought plantar fasciitis for years. It doesn't sound like fun. But, she has somehow managed to continue to be active ... she then just has to balance it all out with plenty of rest. So, maybe you get to run and then nap the rest of the day?
